My real name is Peter..... Peter Parker. Let me tell you my story. 'Tis a daring tale lacking radioactive spiders and supervillians, yet daring all the same. Oh, and my name isn't Peter Parker, just Mike.

So this year I'm a Junior at Hesperia High School. The quiet high school has around 400 students, though quiet is the antonym of my Cross Country team. We made it all the way to the State Finals this year and placed 6th.

But that wasn't enough. We put in too much work for a 6th place finish, with the grueling summer workouts and the freezing temperatures of a fading autumn. So next fall we're going to win it all.

As you can probably tell, Cross Country is my passion. Running track is another one of my favorite things to do, but the brotherhood our Cross team developed is unmatched.

Shortly after our escapade at the state finals, actually the next Tuesday, I got my first job. I don't really like the job but I enjoy the money so I put a smile on my face anyway.

I enjoy living in the moment and as a consequence, I have no plans for after high school and the rest of my life. But hey, you have to enjoy the little things.
