Essays:
Essays are placed on this site for your reading pleasure, they are not to be removed, copied, emailed, or plagarized! If you would like to share the essay with others, you are welcome to send a link! You are welcome to print a copy for personal use, or for further research, but please only use links when sharing the essays.
Tutorials:
Do not share with groups, unless a group owner or moderator contacts me and is given permission to share! When sharing with groups use a text link only!
Email Stationery:
Personal use only, not to be used for commercial use!
If you use OE, please place the .eml files into a folder with my name on it, do not install the stationery into your Outlook stationery folder! I ask this, because their are credits in the footer that will not be there if you install the file, not to mention that you will lose all of the graphics other than the background. So, if you use Outlook and want to use my stationery you will have to place it in a folder on your hard drive, when you click on the icon OE will open it and you can type on the stationery and send it like a regular email.
Do not tear apart the stationery, also know as ripping, borrowing, admiring, etc. No matter how you look at it, taking apart the stationery to use in any other way, such as making another graphic or stationery is stealing, plain and simple! Some of the graphics used in the stationery I have made using tutorials, some are my original graphics/photos, or I have permission to use the graphics, neither I or the original artists want the graphics stolen. If you like it, check the footers, there are links there to the tutorials that I used. If I made it, just ask, I can help you learn how to make it, or make you one like it.
Blinkies:
Absolutely NO hot linking. Do not use the url address to use my blinkies, right click and download them to your own hard drive. The reason is that hot linking will cost my darling husband money for bandwidth that someone else is using!
If I find out that someone is hot linking I will change the file name of the blinkie(s) that are being hot linked and replace the old blinkie with a cute little note (notice the sarcasm) about how the offender is a thief! If you want to avoid this take the few extra steps to download the blinkie to your own hard drive. If you are unsure how to do this, please email me and I will give you a hand.
I am offering both gif files and imi files. Gif files can be downloaded by right clicking and saving image as, save the file to a place where you will be able to locate it later. The imi files will be downloaded directly to your IncrediMail Animations by clicking on the link, this will make the blinkies readily available to you when you want to insert them in you email, when using IncrediMail!
If you are going to use these blinkies on your web site I do ask that you link them to my site, http://www.eitniear.com
If you are going to use them in your email I ask that you have a link some place on your site to my site. If you do not have a site, please email me so that we can discuss how to handle it, this will be handled on a case by case basis.
Wallpaper:
Any wallpaper is for personal use only!
Do not alter the wallpaper in any way.
Do not share the wallpaper with groups or friends, you are welcome to share a link to my site if you would like others to download a desktop wallpaper.
Why the rules?
All work on this site is either copyrighted to Laura Eitniear, or others that have given me permission to use their work in a certain manner.
Copyright laws may not mean a whole lot to you, often people feel that if someone is dumb enough to put it on the internet, they should expect it to be stolen. However, I assure you that this attitude can cost you a lot of money.
If you would like to learn more, my sister site has a wonderful self-paced copyright course, for free. So you can stop by and learn more about copyright laws.
If you have a problem or comment about terms of use, pleaseemail me.
